a perspective #3

I was sharpening a new pencil
to perpetuate my perception
of your peculiarity.

when you advised me
to confront my self-misconception
on constancy.

I laid you on my desk
this example of absolute evenness
and let my lips demonstrate on your skin
the art of calligraphy.

a moment before your milieu
collapsed into the oblivion
on the ruins of modern morality
and multicolored pencil shavings
I felt confident in my perspective.
