the salt #2

your foot prints on the salt of the time
are descending into the singularity
like a fading overture of the yesterday’s commotion

faux ‘iloveyous’
careless ‘howareyous’
silly ‘imissyous’
a vintage collection of the sticky smiles

just don’t turn back

a still alive
put into the frame
locked forever behind the glass
ask Lot’s wife
she knows

  1. Very good, just don’t turn back. Love the way you have started the poem with foot prints on the salt of time and ended it with ask Lot’s wife she knows. Brilliant.
